International Workshop Navigation and Motion Control
The international workshop Navigation and Motion Control (NMC) is organized by the State Research Center of the Russian Federation – Concern CSRI Elektropribor with the support of ITMO University.
It will be held on October 2–6, 2017 at the Test Center of Elektropribor located at the shore of Ladoga Lake (Leningrad Oblast, Priozersky District, Cape Cheryomukhin).
The aim of the workshop is to provide an overview of new technologies in navigation and motion control.
The program includes tutorials on modern navigation and control systems as well as hardware design problems, which will be delivered both by the leading Russian and foreign scientists and young scientists.
A cultural and entertainment program is also provided.
The workshop language is English.

Participation in the workshop and accommodation at the Test Center is free of charge.
A fee is to be paid only for food and beverage (a full-day food and beverage fee is approximately 1500 rubles).
To participate in the workshop, authors should submit their abstract in English (1000 characters). The Program Committee will select the papers before August 1, 2017
A full paper typeset text of 5-7 pages (A4 format with Times New Roman font and 11 pt size) should be submitted by September 15, 2017.
Abstracts and paper texts should include the authors' and the scientific supervisor’s last and first names, the organization name, e-mail address, and authors' phone numbers.
The workshop proceedings are supposed to be submitted for indexing in Scopus, an international citation database.
25 July 2017 – Deadline for abstract submission
01 August 2017 – Notification of authors on including the paper in the workshop program
15 September 2017 – Deadline for full paper submission
2-6 October 2017 – Holding of the workshop

1. Text of the paper abstract of 1000 printed characters should be prepared in English and submitted ONLINEto the Organizing Committee via Conference Management System CoMS-Elektropribor at http://comsep.ru

3. From the list of events select:
4. Enter your Virtual Office, to create and submit your paper abstract.
5. On page Main you will see the list of actions you can do now. Get acquainted with them.
6. Using the link «My papers» go to page «My papers»
7. Press button «Create new abstract/paper».
8. Fill in the fields: «Text», «Keywords» and «Authors».
9. After completion of fields Text, Keywords and data of all the Authors save your abstract/paper by pressing button “Save as abstract/paper”
The paper number (N) will be assigned by the system to your abstract/paper, and it will appear in your List of abstracts/papers
10. Upload the file of your abstract/paper.
ATTENTION! The content of field «Text» of the abstract and the text of the uploaded file of the abstract should be the same!

Instructions for preparing paper text for The International Workshop Navigation and Motion Control (NMC-2017)
The paper texts (in English) prepared according to the requirements below should be submitted to the Organizing Committee ONLINE via the Conference Management System CoMS-Elektropribor by September 15, 2017.
In order to unify texts of the papers in the Workshop Proceedings, please follow the instructions below:
1. A full paper typeset text should be of about 5-7 pages A4 format.
2.The paper title should be given in CAPITAL bold letters.
Leave 1.5 line spaces and indicate the following details for each author:
- Author’s name and initials
- Organization, city, country
- Degree and position should be given in footnote (at the bottom of the page)
- Phone number and postal address can be indicated at author’s will.
3. The paper should be preceded by 3-5 key words and a summary of about 1000 characters (not words!)typed in italics.
4. General guidelines for the paper text:
- typeset the text using a computer in Word for Windows;
- the format of the typeset page must be 160x240 mm;
- make 25 mm margins on the top, left and right;
- the paper text should be typed single spaced;
- use Times New Roman font, size 10 pt for the main body of the text; size 9 pt for the summary and references;
- for formulas use the Equation 3.0 Editor, font Times New Roman or Symbol, size 10; for subscripts and superscripts - size 8; Roman letters should be typed in Italics, Greek letters - Roman type;
- ins ert illustrations, where necessary, using computer graphics in one of raster formats, preferably bmp with the colour depth of 1 bit;
- photographs should be presented in the raster format tif or jpg (do not use colour pictures as publication will have only gray-scale figures); all the components in the illustrations should be clear, inscriptions should be easily readable.
