IAG Symposium on Terrestrial Gravimetry «Static and Mobile Measurements»
The Organizing Committee of the 4th IAG Symposium on Terrestrial Gravimetry: Static and Mobile Measurements (TG-SMM2016) kindly invites you to take part in it.
The Symposium will be held on 12 - 15 April 2016 at the State Research Center of the Russian Federation – Concern CSRI Elektropribor, JSC, St. Petersburg, Russia.The Symposium topics include:
The following topics are especially welcome for presentation at the Symposium:
The Symposium does not cover the issues related to military and technical cooperation, development of military technologies and weapons.
The Symposium languages are English and Russian.
Simultaneous translation from Russian into English and from English into Russian is provided.
The Symposium program includes plenary and poster presentations.
The duration of plenary presentation (including discussion) should be no longer than 20 min.
The authors of posters are given 3 min at the plenary session to present the main idea of the paper with 1-2 slides, if any; further discussion will continue at the posters.
The peer reviewed Symposium proceedings in English (full texts of plenary and poster papers) will be published by the beginning of the Symposium and distributed at the registration.
Abstracts in English of up to 600 words prepared according to the guidelines provided at the Symposium website, should be submitted online via the Conference Management System CoMS-Elektropribor at http://comsep.ru
Deadline for abstract submission is 1 September 2015. 30 September 2015.
Files of papers accepted for the Symposium program should be submitted for publication in the Symposium proceedings also ONLINE via CoMS-Elektropribor system. Files of abstracts and papers are not accepted by e-mail!

REGISTRATION FEES
The registration fee is $550 if paid before 20 March 2016 and $600 if paid after 20 March 2016.
For students and post-graduates the registration fee is reduced to 50%: $275 and $300, respectively.

On 15 April 2016 the sight-seeing tour of Saint Petersburg will be arranged at extra cost (it is not covered by the registration fee).

Decision of the International Scientific Committee regarding types of the papers (plenary, poster, reject) is available on the Symposium web site.

ATTENTION!
In view of the requests concerning the extension of the deadline of abstract submission for the 4th IAG Symposium on Terrestrial Gravimetry: Static and Mobile Measurements, sent to the Local Organizing Committee by potential participants who plan to make a paper presentation at the Symposium, please be informed that the decision is taken to extend the deadline of abstract submission till September 30, 2015.
Note that the deadlines for the other steps of the symposium organizing and holding are very strict and cannot be postponed. So if you plan to take part in the symposium with the paper presentation, please submit your abstract not later than the date indicated.
