ARKTIKA-I. System of information support of navigation safety for ice-going marine ships

The system is a pilot house workstation.
ARKTIKA-I can be installed both as a part of integrated bridge and navigation systems, and autonomously.
ARKTIKA-I provides information support of navigation safety of marine ships and various-purpose submersible vehicles (when operated in latitudes up to 90 N), thanks to integration of ENC and data from radars, AIS, NAVTEX, navigation sensors, hydrometeorological information, ice-condition maps and satellite images, and also to display navigation and ice conditions in the sailing area by the data from video surveillance system.
FUNCTIONS (when operated in latitudes up to 90◦N):

ARKTIKA-I INCLUDES:
ECDIS, radar, ARPA, VHF radio station and the system for reception of hydrometeorological and ice condition charts

- Display of data from radar, AIS, navigation sensors and information on hydrometeorological and ice conditions on ENC
- Route planning and route monitoring
- Warnings, alarms and indications
- Display of video surveillance system data
- Voyage recording
- Interfacing with external devices

ARKTIKA-I is powered from the main and emergency power boards of the navigation equipment, ~3 50 Hz 220 V and DC source 24 V, in compliance with the regulations of the Russian Maritime Register of Shipping.
Accuracy of the system is determined by the accuracy parameters of interfaced sensors and data sources.
